Skills
• Minimum CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent advanced certification)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise LAN engineering and operations
• Strong expertise in routing and switching including VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, and campus design
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise switching platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, Aruba CX, Juniper EX, or similar
• Strong expertise in firewalling (Palo Alto) including creation and maintenance of rulesets, as well as monitoring of traffic flows
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis and troubleshooting
• Network automation skills using Python or Ansible is a nice to have
• Hands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools for device health, availability, and performance
• Strong understanding of 802.1X, NAC, and access control technologies (Cisco ISE, ClearPass, or similar)
• Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution
• Experience mentoring engineers, leading projects, and acting as senior escalation point
